Compared, mark by mark, with what else is sold

Before a line of this product was written we opened twelve competing school systems screen by screen — across the market where this product was proven — and wrote down what we found, including what we could not open. Every mark below traces back to one of those notes.

You will find rows where they win. Online fee payment, double-entry accounting, online examinations and hostel management are all things somebody else does and we do not. A comparison table that is an unbroken line of ticks is one you should throw away, and so would we.

They are not all the same kind of thing, and the difference matters more than any single row: a WordPress plugin, a script you install yourself and a hosted product carry very different burdens for a school.
